Memorial Middle School​ IB/MYP

Mr. Chavis has been working with the students of Memorial Middle School for several years now.  The ever present figure pushing the students to really be the best they can be.  Mr. Chavis works with the students to guide them in understanding what it means to be a leader both academically and personally.  With his guidance the program has grown steadily over the past few years doubling in size.

Ms. Brennan has been working in our school system for many years.  She is new to Memorial Middle School however she is making great strides in assisting students in gaining their highest achievements.  Ms. Brennan works tirelessly on building relationships with the students that show her caring nature and highest standards.

Memorial is committed to producing "holistic" students who are ready to take on the challenges the world presents.

Ms. McMurtry always enjoys a challenge and this love is ever present in the way she pushes and challenges the students in the IB Program.  With her behind us we know that we can tackle big projects and succeed!  She was instrumental in the process of getting the golf course up and running.

Her love of seeing all students successful is a breath of fresh air.

Ms. Baker-Drayton is the proud principal of Memorial Middle School.

Although she is new, she has been wonderfully supportive of the International Baccalaureate Program and she wants to see the magnet program grow into a school wide program.  This would integrate the foundations that IB stands for and every child would be exposed to the highest standards.
